The annoying voice of the lead would be enough to drop this, but I found the story boring, too. I think, if they did not skip back to the future, but instead showed it is flashbacks during 1992, it would have been better. A lot of time was wasted on something that could have been told in like 2 minutes, and it did not add anything to the character either.
