I think this one is better than Ocean's Eleven. It is still somewhat slow, but has a much better pacing. Especially if I am to compare how both movies started. Where Ocean's Eleven was more about talking and talking and some more talking, Italian job actually started with a job, and showed that the characters are professionals at what they do.
And this is important distinction: this movie actually "shows" stuff, and not just tells you that something has happened, someone did this or that. This is the whole point of moving pictures - to "show". It does not mean you should not have dialogues, though, and they are here, too, and they are fine. What is also better is the soundtrack - it compliments what we see on screen quite nicely.
