Gushing over magical girls in a kid-friendly way, I guess? And with a male character, who may or may not be a masochist. And boring. It feels like something is holding them back. They need to go a bit insane, like how "Gushing" did or maybe how "Penguindrum" did. There is clearly potential for that, especially with the bears. But instead I was bored out of my skull by the end of 1st episode, and was essentially forcing myself to try 2nd one, which I was not able to finish. It's just too tame, too serious.
