Did he really have to be a dragon? Or get resurrected at all? It felt like it did not add anything to the story To be honest there was barely any story to begin with. Felt very bland to me, nothing particular stood out. I guess the main appeal is supposed to be the lamia girl, but maybe she is also a comic relief? A poor one at that, but still a "relief"? There was a lot of pointless stuff here, that was not adding anything and not really acting as "world building", as if it was there just for the sake of ticking off a checkbox and forcing certain narrative. Motivations and circumstances of the characters shown so far are also lackluster. Not sure who is the target audience here. If it ended with this 1st episode and was treated as a school project OVA or something - that would have been completely fine, but there are 11 more episodes of this. Personally, not going to stick to this.
