The starting scene of 3rd episode describes the issue with the show, I think. The scene is Kirishima orally pleasuring the girl (not Yoshino). And even though it does not show anything really, they did darken the girl's thighs for whatever reason. It does not make sense to me, really. Either show it properly or do not show it, especially, since this act specifically does not add anything. Kirishima's interaction with the girl after this were enough to "expand" on his character.

Why I find this representative? Because the show seems to not go all the way. It's like it is trying to be edgy, without really showing an edge. There are little things here and there that suggest that story is supposed to be a clash of brutality and romance, that blooms from finding pieces of good under that brutality. But because the edge is buried it just feels plain. I can't feel the tension or release from the tension (through brutality) that is supposed to be driving the characters.

Now they also added another guy, clearly for a "love triangle" or at least a tease of it, which also feels like a cheap trick to hold your attention. On the other hand I am also not sure if I am interested in completely unmotivated toxic relationship. So it's a drop for me, after all.
