I did not feel the magic. Which is not great for a Christmas movie. Can it be because of "spy tech" approach instead of literal magic? Or is it that it was not that funny? It was not wholesome either. The concept overall is fine, I guess, but did not had much oomph. I think it would be better if it was directed by people who did "Citadel" TV show. That one was definitely a better spy show. In fact, I'd say it was a more wholesome show, too. This one just felt generic and a try-hard. I would better rewatch Home Alone, since it has the spirit, and the humor. It is also not as "dark" and "blurry". Seriously: why is this movie so visually dark? Where are all the colors? Were they stolen along with Santa?
