The start already does not make sense. Guy was demoted and after year is being released with "we will grant you anything you need" notion. What? To a convict? No matter how awesome he might have been, he betrayed the state and then they just trust him just like that with an important mission? And even have more people to give to him? If they were short-stuffed - ok. But then that would mean, that they would have no personnel to spare. Also the girls look nothing like military, that they are supposed to be. Furthermore, the ex-con was not even a high-ranking officer! Not believable at all.
