Episode 2:

Tough one. I am interested in the concept with lame-ass jobs and Grimgar-like approach to how lame of fighters the characters are, but... It feels like something is missing. Perhaps "You all die" is too half-assed? Too generic?

Somehow I am reminded of Wixoss, which I dropped, because there was all that build-up, like someone gonna break soon, but no one did. Considering how close to the edge this one comes, but does not cut itself - perhaps, that's the reason. Like, there is a breaking point, but it's being avoided.

Will continue watching for now.

I understand why they wanted (if not "needed") to have that opening, but it was too long (could be cut in half, at least) and possibly too far from the actual point where it made sense, why it was there.

Episode 12:

The dynamics in last few episodes were all over the place. Psychological aspect in the last episode is too half-assed and naive. Game master also seems to be "breaking the rules" previously established for no apparent reason. I really hope that polish things up in S2, because there is a lot of potential here, but execution needs to be able to keep up with it.
