Not sure I understand why he decided to change his mind about retiring. Also not sure as a whole. It does not look bad, but something feels lacking. Will give it another shot to see if it can become a good slice-of-life.

I forced myself to finish 2nd episode, to be honest. I had hopes for the show. But 2nd episode disappointed me. I expected a story of a man being "picked up from the dumps" by a weird character, yet it a more-or-less realistic way. But I got:

1. Athlete, who has no idea how to train without his coach telling him how to, despite doing that for decades. I guess it's visualization of stereotype, that athletes are dumb (which is so wrong)
2. Too hyper and extremely childish foreigner who does not bother to remove his "ninja cap" at any circumstances. And for some reason he is allowed to keep it even when waiting tables in a cafe.
3. Stereotypical trans/cross-dresser/gay/whatever.
4. Extremely useless "BigBird". Meant as a comic relief, but it tired itself out in 1st episode already.
5. Little stuck-up kid, who looks down on his elders, just because he thinks he is better.
6. It's just not working for me. I expected something a bit more... Grounded and realistic, I guess.
