I've just watched 1st OVA from 2012 before this. Aside from far better quality of the art, this one much more "dramatic" in its narrative, has a bit faster pacing yet more fleshed characters, some dialogues and interactions seems a bit more "natural". Overall, it's more of the same thing, but with better execution, just as one would expect.
Also, it looks like it takes a bit of Hori's perspective, rather than a full 3rd-person as in OVA. At least in some moments.

Honoka is clearly an illegitimate daughter of Miyamura family.

No offense to Yoshikawa, but I think Sakura suits Toru more than her.

Sakura-chaaaaaan! Come, I'll wash all your sorrows away!
Episode 13:
Bittersweet as any graduation should be. Although mine was a huge relief.
