Nope, not my thing.
And not, it's not about the bullying (although I do not support it in any way), but because I do not believe I do not believe in the characters.
The guy is a wuss, no argument there, but... But he is lying to himself, that he is a sociophobe (or whatever). Why? Because if he was, he would not go into the library if he saw (and heard) 4 loud girls there. Or at least, not as readily. He would, at least, do some self-convincing.
And Nagataro is simply dishonest. I think the most honest reaction (besides when the guy fell into the canal) was when she picked up the manga. She did like the manga. Or, at least, the art: she found the story lacking (which is reasonable). And what she is doing is pushing the guy to overcome his complexes, so that art will come hand-in-hand with good (or, at least, "better") story.
I find this extremely obvious and it irks me, how Nagataro is covering her desire to help with under grimaces and extreme teasing. I mean... Teasing can stimulate, but case of this guy, some proper encouragement should be used, as well.
I also do not like those grimaces. And, probably faces in general. I do like some of the... Art... Yes, art, I saw of Nagataro, but not enough to make me stick with the anime, especially I do not find it funny. Even Taakagi-san was somewhat funny to me, unlike this one.
