It's... Meh.

There are scenes, that use some words to imply, that there is a sense of urgency or danger, but they do not deliver the actual sense. Summoning, monster at the border, political intrigue scenes... And if it was intentional to make it humorous somehow - that's one thing, but in here it's meant to be taken serious. It's meant to be "realistic", while it's anything but.

I understand that management of a kingdom can be... Mundane and we can see in Slime, for example, where some episodes are purely slice-of-life. But there you can still feel the world outside, that there are risks, dangers. You know that there is a need for building stuff, hunting and training, etc.

Here you can't see anything like that, at least not in 1st episode, which already breaks the immersion for me. Add some simplistic scenes showing that the country is loosing money and there is unrest. Same for monsters on the border and another country holding them back and requiring financial help as result. I mean, really simplistic and short scenes like that would make it more immersive. And for political intrigue - use colors.

Also the king is clearly a figurehead and nothing more. True power lies with the queen. And she is way better than the princess. She is a proper waifu here.
