Style reminds me of old French/Spanish animations I've seen way back (Around the world in 80 days, Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds). Not my thing, but there is a certain nostalgic charm to it. Also the show is aimed at kids, obviously, with the main premise being "don't judge the book by its cover". I am not doing that and dropping simply because I am not a kid anymore, wrong demographic.
