I don't know. I was not able to get into any of the franchise movies, so maybe this is simply not aimed at me, but this felt as if that latest Ghost In The Shell iteration, but much less cute and a bit more atmospheric (mainly because of music). Otherwise felt somewhat empty, if not not to say shallow.
