You would expect that it would look better, since average quality of animation has gone up in past decade, but they certainly brought it up to 11. I am not sure about lighting on hairs, though, seems like there is some excessive glares or "light lines" along the hairlines.
Episode 4:
I do like faster pacing with less bullshit compared to original anime, but I think this episode deserved slower pace to better ahow despair. They could have used those 3 ninutes of recap for that.
