This is weak. I do not feel any strengths behind any of the characters, including the king, who is supposed to be this "alpha dog" here. There is nothing even remotely menacing about him, even though it looks like he is supposed to be. The designs of the characters do not help, either, because they all look extremely scrawny, especially around their necks (which look like twigs) and heads. And while king seems to be the only one "bulky", he still feels absolutely empty and his actions feels as orders being fulfilled by an AI or something.
There is a saying "show, don't tell". This show seems to be telling rather than showing. What it tells through characters' voices sound relatively ok and potentially interesting, but the way stuff is delivered lack any actual "bite" or weight of emotions. It is almost sterile.
