Yeah, you got that right, soldier. Although, it's not as bad as I expected.

I did not like the rodents' language. That's not a language even, if they had way more physical contact or movement - it could have made sense, but otherwise it was just annoying, and probably is more annoying to Japanese, since "chu" for them means "kiss". Aliens' designs are not to my liking either. Vasa Pupkin does not have a Russian accent and his last name is pronounced incorrectly. Also Akira had a very unrealistic burger: where did you see a burger, that you can eat with one hand? To me only simple hamburger/cheeseburger from McDonalds or something comes to mind. I would probably drop the flashbacks approach and have a more linear story for the 1st episode, too.

So, all in all, this feels like a sci-fi b-movie trying to be an a-movie. Like the old Starship Troopers or something. They even have a bunny Miku knock-off to prove their ambitions.

Episode 2:

Nope, dropping this after all. I mean, is there even a plot? ~60 minutes spent on singular battle, that does not properly describe any stakes for the characters, thus does not make one care for it, and on describing how the team was assembled, which also does not really bring anything important to the story. And the battle moments are not that exciting, even though the music tries to make them so.
