Hold your horses, damn it! Slow down! This 2nd anime in my recent memory, that I am dropping because I can't keep up with it, the 1st one being Momentary Lily. Main difference is that with that one I was not even sure what was making me lose focus while watching it, and here are I know for sure, that it's speed. It's blazingly fast.

I get it, that the beginning needed to be more dynamic, because it was a flash-forward. That's fine. But then we got to the same point very fast, even though chronologically it should have been, probably, several hours difference. Or at least it felt so, I guess. Part of it is, of course, Yuina being so... Non-chalant? It's clearly the core of her character, you can see others referencing it one way or another, and that's fine. But she, essentially, overpowered everything else.

Dedicating an episode to specific character is fine, it's common practice. You tell a story with focus on one of the characters to expand that one specifically, and to touch on other characters through their interactions. This is double so when the story is about a team, so you can explore how each member contributes to the team and how others compensate for their flaws.

Problem is that here Yuina infected everyone else with this hyper-ness. Or maybe all other characters are just as hyper? Nothing that they were saying suggested that, but the speed they were talking at... It felt like lots of stuff is being condensed into a very short time-span, but at the same time not that many information or character development was done. There were moments, where this speed made sense, but overall it felt like they are using it to cover how shallow everything actually is.

So, not watching this further. Unless I learn that they pull a Madoka here, but I somehow doubt it, because from the looks of it, this will be more a story about relationships inside the group rather than "group against the world". But ping me, if I am wrong.
