I think this is not a good format for the show. Looks like source material is like a 4-koma (although maybe not a 4-koma per say). It is very hard to adapt this format to a TV show, especially where an episode is 20 minutes long, and I think creators failed at that. Things are changing a bit too fast, and those things are just jokes all the time. And mostly around the topic of how younger grandpa and grandma are seen as hot by others, which gets old (pun intended) pretty soon, too. If it was somewhat melancholic, maybe about how the pair reconnects with each other or something like that - I could have considered this show for continuous watch, but as is - no. It's not that interesting to me.
