The case when anime surpasses the manga. In anime they gave this moment more details that made it far more heavy, which was needed. Manga does not deliver emotions quite as vivid as the episode deserves.

I caught up to anime, which I dropped recently, and... Manga adaptation is just better. There is still a lot of talking about somewhat obscure politics, and still little to no sense of danger, but the dynamics are definitely way better, and some scenes work better than they did in anime because of slight differences. I do not expect there to be anything particular interesting going forward, but unlike with anime adaptation, I do not want to drop it. Yet.
