Even if you are into BL, it may not be for you. I think it simply lacks subtlety. It is clear from the get-go, that the main plot here is one guy being gay, but secretly only from the outside world, and the other one being gay, but secretly even from himself, and and how the latter will be realizing, that he is gay, too. That's fine by itself, but in the very first couple of minutes the show makes it absolutely clear, that they are both gay, and they will be "forced by circumstances" to come to terms of loving each other. It's like watching Castle and Beckett argue, knowing all too well, that they will still end up with each other (which was why I dropped the show around season 6, since I got too tired of that). We also know right away, that those promises they made will be broken, and probably multiple times. Better watch Banana Fish: it has plot, at least, and style.
