This is surprisingly wholesome. I like Harley Quinn TV show, it was unhinged, funny, and also had some wholesome moments, properly establishing Harley as an independent character (which was one of the themes of the show). Kite Man is essentially same, but dialed down just a bit to fit the characters in this show a bit better, since Kite Man does not have powers (which is also one of the themes here).
It still has its unhinged or just weird or brutal moments, don't get me wrong, but for me somehow the relationship between Kite Man and Golden Glider was the highlight. They had their clear lows, but they still sticked together, and it did not feel like "heroic", as what comics often try to deliver (or used to, at least). It felt more... "Natural", I guess. I did not care that much for relationship between Harley and Ivy (although I still wish the best for them), but I definitely rooted for Kite Man and Glider, and it melted my heart seeing them (somewhat) happy together.
But anyway, if you liked Harley Quinn show, you will probably like this one. And it looks like we may have a 2nd season of this one, too.
