They definitely got the atmosphere right. It felt really "viscous". Like something sinister is trying to wrap itself around you. Very uneasy, very unnerving. Even without Cage, although he did add to the atmosphere for sure. The story, though... Not so sure. It's not necessarily bad, but it felt like it could have used a bit more refinement, especially in terms of resolution, which was kind of an exposition dump, instead of hints being spread through-out. I think it might have been better as a limited series, so that it had more time to explore things. Kind of like 1st half of Dahmer, but more mysterious.
