It's... Underrated. Probably. Because you may need to think in order to fully understand, what's going on, especially the ending. I mean, the ending is obvious in 1 aspect, but it's not as clear in other aspects. Don't read review before watching, don't search for possible interpretations. Watch it till the end and think about it. I did find a few interpretations, that can make sense, both separately and all at once even. Which is, probably, the point of the movie, at least to an extent.
Of course, to fully watch it, you will need to be an enjoyer of weird and potentially psychological thrillers, and be tolerant enough of stop motion animation. It looks creepy. Really creepy, even though it has very high frame-rate, compared to a lot of other examples of the art. So, it will not be for everyone. But the use of stop motion animation is very important to interpretation of the deeper story here. At least to mine, which I won't disclose, to avoid spoilers.
But I will tell that I did like the starting scene with the lights and faces. Not sure I got the point of it, but it did look cool. The movie overall also reminded me of Itch and Change From Inside stories, that I wrote. If you watch the movie and like it ("enjoy" probably will not fit here), you may like these stories, too.
