Healing anime of the season? It is really wholesome and seems to have great balance between humor and serious topics. I was never in skating or any serious sports, but I totally get it how parents may be worried, how child can be frustrated if something goes wrong, and the show delivers that nicely. As well as this... "Need" to do something, no matter what, because if you are not doing it, you just do not feel like yourself. I can already tell that it will do a much better job than Tonbo did, in a sense, that there will be challenges for the girl, no matter how good she is, and the coach will be... Well, more of an actual "coach". And they definitely already have better connection than Tonbo and Igaiga, considering this little gesture of Inori holding those hoody cords.
There is one thing I am worried about, though: the sister. She was not shown at all, only mentioned. I do not think she is dead or anything, but she can become an actual "obstacle" for Inori, possible should have already become one considering the timeline of the 2 episodes. There can be good explanations why that is, but I think it will be crucial how she is then integrated into the show, because if it's done poorly, it can ruin the whole impression. And if she is not introduced at all, that can ruin it even more.
