I also tried watching other series based on Marvel Comics from the 90s (and not only). So far tried Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, The Avengers and Silver Surfer. I did see some episodes of the 1st 2, but I don't remember much from them (unlike with X-Men, where I do remember quite a few things), and I guess I understand why: they were not good even for that time. At the least they were clearly meant for the fans and were way more... "Cartoonish"? Or just average. Nothing really stands out in either.
The Avengers also was not good. Essentially throwed lots of characters at you, all at once. Kind of like 1st episode of Iron Man, I guess, but even with less style and with bad opening "song". Silver Surfer, though... That may turn out to be good. At least 1st episode was very decent. Maybe it will be good enough to warrant a separate thread for it?
