This is the case when anime can be a better medium, than manga. I tried manga last year and I found it... Meh. Interesting premise, but too silly and that's it. But in anime form - it's stupidly cute and funny. The animation and voice-acting add what I was missing in manga, so I will be continuing to watch it. And maybe try returning to manga one day. I mean, I doubt I would read about Rimuru Tempest if I have not watched the anime first, as well. I think.

Also, interesting coincidence: I am writing a story right now, and one of its themes is spiders. I've learn quite a lot about different species.

Episode 14:

 

Human fights were uninteresting and sloppy. And I think this was the first episode, where it was made 100% clear, that there is a time difference. I mean, previously you could assume that, but it was not guaranteed, but appearance of Sophia first as child and then as an adult made it clear.

Episode 20:

 

I think previously the teacher mentioned, that some students did die. But in this episode it felt as if this was not the case, yet for a split second I saw 1 name crossed out in the roster. Was this something they simply missed in her train of thoughts or did she lie about students dyeing (besides that 1)?

Episode 24:

I am not sure about Arachne design. I mean, I understand why and all, but it does not feel "battle-ready" somehow. It does not mesh with the speed attribute in my head.
