There did not seem to be much of world-building in this one. Animation seems a bit choppy at times, as if it's running at lower framerate, but music is really good. Not sure about this one yet.

Episode 5:

Pacing, music and art are good, but I still find its world-building quite a bit lacking. Not that it does not tell any lore, no, but more that the lore being told is too shallow (lack of depth). It's clear that the team is betting on action, rather than on a good story. And the thing is, to get deeper lore they would need to slow down... I guess they're afraid of that? I mean, it can be hard to maintain balance that way.

Episode 8:

My opinion has not changed: it looks and sounds cool, but it's still too shallow. I think one of the reasons for this is lack of tangible rules for magic. One may say, that magic does not have rules, but that's not true. At least, there always needs to be a cost, and it should be greater, the greater the result. I did not notice anything like that here.
