Uncertain at this point. Isekai, but not exactly isekai, since MC (if he can be considered one) died right away to become a random child's "superpower" of something of the sort. The idea itself is not over-used for sure, but on the other hand, there is nothing else after it.

Overall looks generic and characters give me SAO vibes for no reason. Transition to ending was good, too bad, that guitars ended as soon as ending started, though.

Will give it another chance, but most likely will drop on 2nd episode.

Episode 2:

2nd episode felt better in narrative overall, but it has too many illogical things:

  1. MC does not read or write and yet, instead of first teaching him those, he is put into a class and asked to do calculus. No one would do that, because that way he will be wasting time (his, teachers', other children)
  2. Even if 1st place got split for 2 persons, why there is no 2nd place, but a 3rd one right after?
  3. Time-skip is understandable, but are you saying, that for 5 years he did not prove his merit to the bully considering the circumstances? Or that they did not have any actual confrontation? I am forced to think of this as Draco Vs Harry and it looses in all regards, including logic.
  4. Why would children be placed to [mock] fight adults? I do not get it.

I also think that this story is a wasted opportunity: general idea of isekai into someone else's head seems interesting, but in here this more like a way to explain why some random kid from the slums is so calm and collected, let alone strong and smart compared to his peers: he simply has memories of an older guy, but it's totally unclear how exactly he accesses them. This could be told as a deep psychological story you know.

And that is the only reason I'm giving it one more shot: I hope, that now that he's grown, there will be more meaning in those memories of a dead guy, that something will happen to this Kirito (sounds like the same actor even, BTW), that will allow for a deeper and darker story of a lonely brain.

Episode 3:

Dropping it, after all. It's too shallow. It adds elements, that have no deeper meaning than just being there.

The blonde douche was right: why would they study something, that they already learnt? If they were studying something to improve those skills - that's another matter.

MC can't use magic, but yet he can use magic. And I do not remember them mentioning this in previous episode. As well as any explanation about those crystals falling from monsters. They are just... there.

It also tries to be like Irregular in Highschool or whatever, but without all the smarts and complexity, that was there. And it ruins itself because of that.

As I've mentioned before, the original idea could be so interesting, but instead its turning into some meh.
